Solar Together Kent and Green Homes Grant

Medway Council are offering two schemes:

 Solar Together Kent

Landlords can take part in Solar Together Kent, a group buying scheme to get solar panels at a competitive price, helping you to reduce the emissions from your properties and reduce energy costs for your tenants. It is free to register, and you are not required to move forward with the purchase after you receive a personal recommendation.

The Solar Together scheme will:

•             help you through the process

•             keep you informed at every stage

•             offer you savings on the installation of solar panels for your establishment

Medway Council are working in partnership with Kent County Council on this innovative scheme. It will offer high-quality solar photovoltaic (PV) panels to help deliver Kent and Medway’s vision of carbon net-zero, and you can receive up to 50 panels. You must register before 15 March to take part.

Green Homes Grant

We also now have another opportunity for households to make energy-saving improvements with the Green Homes Grant. Your tenants can apply for and receive support, though you may need to pay part of the costs. Application closing date is 31st March
