Second home and buy-to-let sales surge by a fifth.

A report in the Telegraph shows that taxes paid on second properties surged in the last financial year.

The report can be seen here (subscription may be necessary) and shows that HMRC have reported tax paid last year of £4.56bn, against an average of £3½bn in previous years.
