Renters pay their landlords’ buy-to-let mortgages, so they should get a share of the profits

John Bird, founder of the Big Issue has published an article calling for tenants to receive a share of the profits enjoyed by landlords.

It can be seen here, and fails to mention that the landlord takes the initial risk and has to maintain the property. The tenant does neither of these....
