Landlord of an HMO with ‘polystyrene ceiling’ fined £5,000

A landlord responsible for a Lincolnshire house in multiple occupation (HMO) has been fined thousands of pounds after myriad problems were found at the property. Jamal Parvez, who managed a HMO in Boston, Lincs, was handed a £5,000 fine after informal attempts at resolving the issue failed.
