The Telegraph is running a piece on a Nottingham landlord who is making his tenants an unconventional offer – he will gift them a deposit so they can buy their homes from him.
If they cannot get a mortgage, he is also prepared to cut the sale price by a tenth, with the stipualtion that the landlord he sells will keep the existing tenants on. This could cost him more than half a million pounds.
