At a recent session of the BEIS Committee (toward the end of the session on 13 Dec.(16:33:30) , Grant Shapps accepted that previous Green Grants for homes had been a failure.

He confirmed that the schemes had been too short with insufficient time for the supply chain to prepare and contractors to obtain the required certification and promised that this is now being taken into account.
