Stuart Scott, an award winning property expert, is spearheading a new movement in “urban shared living” in Brighton.
His company, Co-Living Spaces, has constructed a number of shared houses which have been designed based on what Stuart thinks young professionals are looking for in a property.
Each house contains the standard amenities – including a kitchen and individual bathrooms for each tenant – as well as gardens, roof terraces and co-working spaces.
Each tenant in the property pays between £650 and £750 a month, including bills, which Stuart says is an affordable price.
His houses can be found across Brighton and Hove, and in Eastbourne.
Stuart said: “If you think that a one-bedroom flat is on average around £1,000 a month to rent plus bills, this offers really good value for money.
“It’s ideal for young professionals – especially those who have just arrived in the city as they’ve got a ready-made community.
“We want to be at the forefront of the micro-living movement as the market transitions to flexible co-living and co-working.”
