Building Safety Bill

The Building Safety Bill returned to the House of Commons on 20 April to consider the amendments made in the House of Lords.

The Government sought to remove or amend some amendments, and these were voted on without defeat in the Commons.

The Bill now passes back to the House of Lords.

It is expected that Parliament will see the Bill pass before this parliamentary session ends at the end of this month.
