Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman’s annual report

Today (12 July) the Ombudsman published its annual report. It shows that in 2017-18 19,215 complaints and enquiries were received. Of these, 12% related to housing issues in which the Ombudsman made 778 decisions. During the year the Ombudsman published 42 public interest reports of which seven related to homelessness issues.
